Mariah MacCarthy’s The All-American Genderf**k Cabaret has a provocative title, but its amusing, dramatic material is in service of a real examination of gender stereotypes. Noah Levine plays the emcee who oversees the proceedings in the Thinking Cap Theatre production. The show runs through Oct. 13 at Empire Stage, 1140 N. Flagler Dr., Fort Lauderdale. Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday (additional shows Oct. 2 and Oct. 8-9). Tickets are $25 (military and seniors 60 and older pay $22, students 25 and under pay $10).
