There is a new resource for Miami residents looking to access local healthcare services.
The city of Miami has partnered with the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer to launch the Miami Health Guide, a free directory of healthcare resources for community members without insurance.
Miami Mayor Tomás Regalado, Miami-Dade School Board member Raquel Regalado and Jackson Health System CEO Carlos Migoya unveiled the directory Tuesday.
“This guide takes us on an important step forward, helping to better unite the rich resources our community has already built with the people who need them most,” Migoya said.
The directory contains information about community health centers, low-cost dental services, and resources for veterans and children, among other topics. To receive a free copy, call 1-888-720-1337 x 20.
