Cancer walk sign-up, animal adoptions available in downtown Miami

Animal lovers are invited to support breast cancer survivors and adopt pets Friday at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Bazaar in downtown Miami.

Miami-Dade Animal Services will have pets available for adoption from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center lobby, 111 NW First St. People will also have the chance to sign up between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, which will take place Oct. 13 at Tropical Park.
