Lindsay Lohan arrested in hit and run

Amanda Bynes was just getting too much attention or maybe her mother Dina Lohan’s loopy appearance on Dr Phil sent her over the edge. But it is what it is: Lindsay Lohan went and got herself arrested early Wednesday.

Lohan had been partying at a nightclub at NYC’s Dream Hotel, and got in her 2010 Porsche (no taxis?) and clipped a pedestrian, chef Jose Rodriguez. Though cops say no alcohol was involved, the victim — who was taken to the hospital with a knee injury — told The New York Daily News that Lohan “smelled like alcohol.”

LiLo was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and causing injury, given a ticket and scheduled to appear in court Oct. 23.

Her publicist, Steve Honig, said it wasn’t a big a deal - “much ado about nothing.” Really?

The 26-year-old actress remains on probation for taking a necklace from a jewelry store without permission, but she’s not required to appear in court anymore for updates.

Incidentally, TMZ first reported that the Porsche Cayenne is owned by Real Housewives of Miami star, Dr. Karent Sierra.

The registration’s still in her name even though she sold it about two months ago to a Spanish artist name Domingo Zapata. He gets his teeth looked after by Sierra.

How the former child star knows Zapata is unclear but we can bet he’s sorry he lent his wheels (or gave? sold? who knows?) to the one and only La Lohan.

According to Zapata’s website, he showed his work at Art Basel at the Delano last year.

The last two standing were tasked with creating an ad campaign and flavor of ice cream for Walgreens food brand Delish. In this corner: Teller’s Magic Swurtle chocolate turtle concoction. In the other: Adkins’ Maple Macadamia MashUp. Both flavors are currently on sale at the drugstore chain.
