GOP on our side?

 

Local Cuban-American radio is enamored hook, line and sinker with the Republican Party. Why? The Republican Party has come down on the side of anti-immigration.

Sometimes I have to laugh when I hear commentators vilifying the president and all things Democratic.

I’m reminded that nearly all significant social legislation of the 20th and 21st century came from Democratic initiatives, largely opposed by Republicans. I urge my Cuban-American brothers, and Hispanics in general, to not be so quick to drink the Republican Kool-Aid.
