Authorities have released a video showing the three masked men who robbed a McDonald’s restaurant in Dania Beach on Aug. 31.

The McDonald’s, at 1310 S. Federal Hwy., was mostly empty at 10:50 p.m. when the robbers burst in, scaring off the few customers inside and chasing employees to the kitchen. One of the men cleaned out the register, shoving cash into a plastic bag, while the only one who had a gun ran into the office and forced the manager open the safe. He threw stacks of cash into another plastic bag and ran out of the office.

All three men escaped out the back door less than a minute after they broke in.

The robbers wore dark clothing and with gloves and white bandannas over their faces. Witnesses described them as two black men and one white man in their late teens or early 20s. Several of the customers who were in the restaurant at the time told police they live in the area, but could not identify any of the robbers.

A spokesperson for the Broward Sheriff’s Office said Monday that detectives were continuing their investigation, but had no suspects.

BSO asked anyone with information about this robbery to contact Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-8477 or www.browardcrimestoppers.org.
