American Idol judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj at odds already?

The ink’s barely dry on their contracts but word is new American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are already feuding. Inside sources told TMZ that Carey kept interrupting Minaj while the (much) younger singer was critiquing a contestant at a Sunday taping in New York. Minaj didn’t take that lightly and just spoke louder. Don’t producers test the chemistry before they do the hiring? Or maybe the drama between the two is what they wanted?

Woe is me

Here’s a good one: Lindsay Lohan is fighting mad that Amanda Bynes isn’t doing time for her various vehicular offenses. "Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?” the Liz and Dick star tweeted on Sunday after Bynes’ car was impounded

Starry rotation

Stephen Colbert and the Modern Family cast are the next subs for Robin Roberts on Good Morning America. Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer and Katie Couric are set to appear next month.

Dream wedding

Another woman all too familiar with prying eyes: Jennifer Aniston. In 1999, the actress, then married to Brad Pitt, was snapped lolling about half naked in the backyard of her Malibu home with a high-powered telephoto lens. She sued a paparazzo who distributed the photos and won $550,000 for invasion of privacy. It’s all good now: Aniston is set to marry Justin Theroux in December while on safari in Kenya, the Daily Mirror reports. Ironically, Pitt and Angelina Jolie took their first trip as a couple to a villa on Diani Beach there in 2005. Meanwhile, Theroux was spotted front row at New York Fashion Week’s Alexander Wang show wearing a “mangagement” ring with his name.

Back to the grind

Blake Lively returned to work on the Gossip Girl set a week after secretly tying the knot with Ryan Reynolds.

Summer lovers Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy are still going strong. On Saturday, Swift, 22, and Kennedy, 18, dined at a cozy restaurant near his prep school in Deerfield, Mass.

Eva Longoria may have gone stag to cohost the Alma awards, celebrating Latin achievement, but she stepped out hand in hand with Jets QB Mark Sanchez Saturday night in NYC. The Alma telecast is 8 p.m. Friday on NBC.
