Rookie police officers fight to get their jobs back in Davie

 

Two officers who lost their jobs right before their probationary period ended and a third officer who accidentally fired a weapon but did not lose her job are appealing the decisions.

Two rookie cops in Davie are trying to get their jobs back, and a third officer is appealing her reprimand after she accidentally fired a suspect’s weapon and none of them reported it.

Because the gun was loaded with blanks, Davie Officer Vladimira Love didn’t report it to her supervisor as required by department policy. Neither did the two rookie cops who were on the scene.
