Beer, wine on menu at new Magic Kingdom restaurant

ORLANDO -- Beer and wine will be on the menu when the new Be Our Guest restaurant opens later this year in Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

It will be the first time in the Magic Kingdom’s 41-year history that the park will serve beer and wine, although alcohol is served in Disney’s three other Central Florida parks,.

Disney officials told the Orlando Sentinel that they’ve listened to feedback from guests who’ve said they’d like the option of being served beer or wine with dinner. The Beauty and the Beast-themed restaurant will open in November as part of the Fantasyland expansion.

Sales will be restricted to dinnertime hours, when the restaurant will have table service. Daytime, it will have counter service. The restaurant will serve French cuisine.

Legoland’s new attraction, The World of Chima, will open July 3 at the Winter Haven park and recruit guests into a very wet battle among animal warriors. The centerpiece will be a water ride with water cannons, The Quest for CHI.
