Kim Rothstein co-defendant pleads not guilty in money-laundering case

A co-defendant of Kim Rothstein pleaded not guilty in Fort Lauderdale federal court Thursday to one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Stacie Weisman, 49, the third defendant in a case that involves Kim Rothstein and her former attorney Scott Saidel, was allowed to remain free on a $500,000 surety bond and will be allowed to travel throughout the country, but she did surrender her passport, said Weisman’s lawyer, Alvin Entin.
