Former Dolphins player Chad Johnson enters not guilty plea in domestic battery case

As was his right, former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson did not appear at his arraignment on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge Thursday when his lawyer entered a written not guilty plea on the athlete's behalf and asked for a jury trial.

Married since July 4, Evelyn Lozada told Davie Police her husband head-butted her Aug. 11 at his Davie home after an argument over a receipt for condoms, a complaint affidavit states.
