Woman charged with beating ex-boyfriend with his prosthetic leg

A Florida woman is accused of beating up her boyfriend with his own prosthetic leg.

A report at WEAR-ABC 3 said Brandon Fleming was at home when former girlfriend Jadian Hatfield visited to take their 2-year-old son. She was accompanied by two men.

When Fleming started to call police, he heard his son scream, according to the report. He attempted to get his son into the car and was attacked by the men, he said. Hatfield then grabbed his fake leg and began beating him with it, the report said, before pulling out a shotgun.

Hatfield is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, domestic violence, battery, interfering with the custody of a minor and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
