James Taylor to visit Obama supporters in Hollywood

 

President Barack Obama’s got a friend in James Taylor, who’s coming to South Florida to show his support.

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter plans to visit Organizing for America-Florida’s Hollywood office on Friday to thank volunteers and supporters for working on the president’s re-election campaign. He also plans to play a short set for attendees, according to a campaign official. No word on the setlist, but Fire and Rain would get my vote.

Taylor is a long-time Obama supporter; he performed at the president’s inauguration in 2009 and was awarded the National Medal of the Arts in 2011.
