Coach Al Golden unveiled yet another depth chart Monday with, as usual, some changes. One of the most noticeable: Right tackle Seantrel Henderson, who had been practicing on the scout team, is now the backup to starter Ereck Flowers and could make the trip to Kansas State.
At wide receiver, Kendal Thompkins, who had a game-day stint as a first-team receiver on the depth chart released Saturday, was surpassed by freshman Malcolm Lewis, who had four catches for 42 yards and an 18-yard touchdown at Boston College.
At strong-side linebacker, redshirt freshman Eddie Johnson leapfrogged Thurston Armbrister at first team. And although Duke Johnson had a 135-yard performance Saturday, Mike James is still the first-team tailback, with Eduardo Clements or Johnson behind him.
Freshman participation
The Hurricanes listed the following freshmen as participating in the Boston College game: D. Johnson, E. Johnson, Lewis, Flowers, Deon Bush, Tracy Howard, Tyriq McCord, Antonio Crawford, Rayshawn Jenkins, Antonio Crawford, Gabe Terry, Earl Moore, Herb Waters and Jelani Hamilton.
Linebacker Jawand Blue, originally listed by BC as playing in the game, did not make the trip. Redshirt freshman Stephen Sweeney, a receiver, also did not make the trip.
