North Miami pastor chides council members over strip-club decision

North Miami Pastor Jack Hakimian had strong words for elected city officials at a meeting last week.

Hakimian, upset that council members gave their approval for a strip club to open in the city, cautioned them that their decision will have lifelong consequences.

“It will bring a curse upon your home, upon the city,” he said.

He also warned of a potential crime wave.

Hakimian told the council that strip clubs are often run by organized crime, mostly Italians. “What you’re going to have is corrupt businessmen and government officials involved in prostitution,” he said.

Those who attend the gentlemen’s club will have to answer to a higher power, he said.

“Jesus made it clear… If you lust in your heart, you’re worthy of damnation.”
