After 53 years, the Cuban newspaper Granma still blames the U.S. blockade for all the economic problems in the island. How can it say that when the United States is the second largest exporter to Cuba, after Venezuela with its oil giveaway?
Tourists in Cuba can have all the Cuba Libres they want; all the rice, pork, chicken and beef, most of it imported from America. The Cubans continue to blame their own inefficiencies and lack of progress on the blockade.
It is time that the people in Cuba realize the type of government that works for the benefit of the people is one that creates business, creates jobs, allow people to express themselves and allow people to grow and think for themselves.
