Pine Crest, Chaminade win volleyball openers

 

Evita Conway’s nine kills, two blocks and five digs led Pine Crest volleyball team to a 25-20, 25-15, 25-21 victory against Calvary Christian on Tuesday in the season opener for both teams.

Nicole Rosenberg assisted in the win for the Panthers (1-0) with 24 assists, four aces and seven digs.

The win came despite the efforts of Calvary Christian’s Lindsay Foreman, who had eight digs, two aces and six kills.
