Prince Harry has an ally in his naked Sin City romp: Rupert Murdoch, who tweeted: “He may be on the public payroll one way or another, but the public loves him, even to enjoy Las Vegas.” The next day, the media mogul added some advice: “Avoid playmates with cameras!”
The Sunday Times says Harry is so embarrassed that it’s unlikely he’ll attend the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games this week.
According to The Sunday Mirror, his army career may be affected as he faces an interrogation by military officers about the strip billiards scandal.
It gets worse. The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that billionaire hotel developer Steve Wynn picked up the tab for the racy weekend.
And a prominent British public relations guru says he's been approached by two women who want to sell their photos of Prince Harry.
Max Clifford told BBC television Friday that two American women who claim they were in the prince's hotel room last week had approached him with offers to sell their photographs.
Clifford is famous for negotiating kiss-and-tell interviews and has been a key player in many of Britain's biggest tabloid scandals.
But Clifford claims that he turned the women because he could not justify the sale to himself. He has given few other details.
Harry was photographed romping in the nude in his Las Vegas room last week. On Friday, Rupert Murdoch's The Sun tabloid became the first U.K. newspaper to publish the embarrassing photos.
