Usher has finally ended a long legal fight with his ex-wife. A Georgia judge ruled that the 33-year-old Grammy winner will have primary custody of Usher V, 4, and Naviyd, 3. The singer and Tameka Foster Raymond will have joint legal custody. Her type of visitation hasn’t been determined yet. The two were married in 2007 and divorced two years later.
In May, Usher testified that Tameka spit at his current girlfriend Grace Miguel during one visit and hit him. He didn’t press charges because: “I didn’t want the boys to know that their father put their mother in jail,” he said. Tameka’s attorney claimed Usher provoked her client and that his account is exaggerated.
Tameka’s 11-year-old son died last month after being injured in a boating accident.
