Pet adoption event comes to Downtown Miami

The Miami-Dade Animal Services shelter is coming near you.

An adoption event will be held Friday and Aug. 31 for those who can’t make it to the shelter.

The adoptable pets will be available to meet, cuddle and get to know at the Stephen P. Clark Building, located at 111 NW First St., Miami.

During both days, volunteers from No Kill Nation will be promoting the importance of adoptions, showing potential owners the benefits of adopting and discussing what it takes to be a good owner.
