It is interesting how one can play with words. Paul Ryan’s mother is on Social Security/Medicare, he says, but he makes it sound like she is struggling. Well, she has two homes, and the one in Lauderdale by the Lakes is assessed in the public records for $421,800. Other homes in her gated 33-home neighborhood are listed for sale at more than $500,000. So she is nowhere near the poor, struggling people who survive on Social Security checks and would have to pay more premiums under Ryan’s plan. Talk about comparing apples and oranges; this is comparing the truth with lies.

His claim that the still-unanswered question of where President Obama was and what he did was irrelevant, since Obama was in contact with his staff, was particularly outrageous.
