Comic relief

 

Re the Aug. 17 article Rare Somali wild ass born at Zoo Miami, about the birth of a Somali wild ass whose mother was brought in from San Diego. Suddenly I was splitting my sides laughing at how preposterous this sounded on the face of it. I’m thinking we can swap San Diego a bunch of ours that are running loose all over the area. I chuckled all day.

    On five Sunday television talk shows, the Obama administration sent out senior advisor Dan Pfeiffer to downplay the three recent scandals: AP, IRS and Benghazi. His claim that the still-unanswered question of where President Obama was and what he did was irrelevant, since Obama was in contact with his staff, was particularly outrageous.
