Report: Nicki Minaj new American Idol judge

Move over Mariah, there’s a new diva on the block. And her hair is pink (sometimes).

Nicki Minaj is to be the newest American Idol judge, Us Weekly reports.

Drum roll, please. In other TV news, Live! With Kelly will have a new, permanent co-host to be revealed on the show Sept. 4. Disney-ABC Domestic Television said that Kelly Ripa will officially announce her new partner as he or she joins her on stage that morning. By then, Ripa will have welcomed 59 guest co-hosts since Regis Philbin retired last November. A hint: It’s definitely one of those 59.
