Country singer Wynonna Judd announced Sunday that she is postponing upcoming concerts in Canada after her husband was hurt in a motorcycle accident in South Dakota.
Judd and her husband, Michael “Cactus” Moser, were riding separate motorcycles in the Black Hills on Saturday when Moser crossed the center line and hit a car. Moser, 55, of Nashville was airlifted to a hospital in Rapid City with serious injuries.
Judd's rep tells Us Weekly that Moser's left leg was “severed at the scene” and then doctors at a Rapid City hospital decided they would have to amputate the limb above his knee.
“He has also undergone surgery to his hand,” the rep said, adding Judd and Moser “appreciate all of the quick medical and police responders as well as the hospital staff and well-wishes from family, friends and fans.”
Moser was cited for crossing the center line and not having a motorcycle license.
Driving Ms. Bynes
Los Angeles police are investigating a minor traffic accident involving actress Amanda Bynes after a person reported the actress left without providing her information, which is required by law.
Police said Sunday the 26-year-old actress stopped after the Aug. 4 accident, but drove away after determining there wasn’t any damage.
It’s the third accident the star has been in this year, including one that resulted in a drunk driving charge, The Los Angeles Times reported. In that case, she pleaded not guilty after she was arrested in April for grazing a sheriff’s patrol car.
