FIU football players get chance to relax

 

After Friday’s final two-a-day practice and night scrimmage, Saturday was the coach-granted South Beach recess — beach, bowling and barbecue — for the team.

Wright breaks through

Coach Mario Cristobal said the defense definitely had the better of it in Friday night’s scrimmage. But wide receiver Willis Wright had his best session of the camp, Cristobal said, including catching a long touchdown pass from quarterback Jake Medlock.
