Congratulations to the 20 percent of the 1.2 million registered voters who went to the polls during the primaries. You have exercised a crucial responsibility in our democracy.
To the 80 percent who did not vote, before you start whining and complaining about how bad politicians are, look at yourself in the mirror.
As Americans, we push democracy around the world, yet we have very low turnouts in our own elections.
The minority of voters who voted in the primaries should be proud of themselves, and the majority of those who didn’t should be ashamed. Basically, they have lost their right to complain.
