Old guard Republican leaders fall, Democrat Ceasar survives

Primary voters this week ousted two Republican Party veterans — Broward state committeeman Ed Kennedy and Palm Beach County state committeewoman Fran Hancock — from their leadership roles.

Ryan Anderson, of Fort Lauderdale, edged out Kennedy by winning 51.7 percent of the vote. Cindy Tindell, of Palm Beach, won 59.8 percent of the vote against Hancock.

The Palm Beach County committeeman, Peter Feaman, barely won with 51.3 percent.
