Winning!
Hometown boy Blake Jenner has done us proud, winning Oxygen Network’s season 2 of The Glee Project as well as a couple of episodes as a guest star on Glee. Jenner, who lives in Los Angeles but grew up in Miami, told RealityWanted.com that “it’s a dream come true.”
As for his character on the upcoming season of the music-minded show, Blake will definitely have a love interest. Creator Ryan Murphy tweeted earlier this week that he was writing a “great role for the winner” and “just wait until you see who they are dating...” We smell stardom!
Looking back
Local singer Scott Stapp is writing a tell-all. The Grammy Award-winning voice of Creed, announced Sinner’s Creed will be hitting shelves in October. According to a release, the book “unleashes behind the scene realities about his suicide attempts, alcohol-induced rampages and intimate details about his abusive childhood.” Stapp collaborated with David Ritz of Rolling Stone on the project. “The book describes ... how I lost control of my life,” Stapp says.
