12 Miami-Dade judicial races decided on Tuesday

Here are Tuesday night’s results in 12 judicial races for Miami-Dade circuit and county judge.

Among the highlights: Incumbent Miami-Dade County Judge Ana Maria Pando, who has come under fire for ethical lapses, lost her seat to challenger Diana Gonzalez.

Attorney Ivonne Cuesta won her race, making her the first Mariel refugee to become a Miami-Dade judge, a fact she mentions in her resume. She defeated Jacci Suzan Seskin.

And former Miami commissioner Victor de Yurre lost his quest for a seat on the bench to Teresa Mary Pooler.
