A man was found dead Tuesday morning inside a Miami backyard.

About 7 a.m., a man stepped outside his home in the 200 block of Northeast 77th Street and found a man, dead, in his backyard, police spokesman Sgt. Freddie Cruz said.

Police didn’t say much about the dead man, except that he was in his 20s and police were investigating what happened. The death may have been related to another shooting, from the same area, that happened about four hours earlier, Cruz said.

“We don’t know if he was a victim or an offender,” he said.

It wasn’t connected to robbery, also in that area, Monday night, Cruz said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
