Florida Gators defensive lineman Nick Alajajian out for season

Nick Alajajian, a senior defensive lineman, is out for the season after sustaining a fractured right knee when a teammate rolled into him during a recent practice, coach Will Muschamp said.

Alajajian, who also played offensive line, appeared in 32 games, including 12 last year with one start coming during the team’s Gator Bowl win against Ohio State.

Redshirt junior defensive lineman Kedric Johnson dislocated his left knee in practice. Johnson is out “for a significant time,” according to Muschamp.

Story restricted

Redshirt freshman receiver Ja’Juan Story, who informed the team of his decision to transfer Thursday, has restrictions on new schools to attend.

“He and I discussed that,” Muschamp said. “And that’s between he and I.”

Story visited Ohio State and Oregon during the recruiting process and had offers from more than 20 Division I schools.
