A reckless decision

 

With Mitt Romney’s vice presidential selection of Paul Ryan, the Romney/Ryan ticket has unequivocally cast its die in favor of the voucherization of Medicare, the block granting of Medicaid, the privatization of Social Security and the evisceration of the social safety net (from housing assistance to student loans to food stamps, and even extending to veteran’s benefits); also to cut taxes most dramatically for society’s most affluent. Policies as economically reckless as they are socially unjust.
