A Broward County high school coach was arrested this week and charged with molesting a member of the girls track team at the University School of Nova Southeastern University.

Matthew Love, who competed for the Jamaican track team in the 110-meter hurdles and ran in the 1995 Central American and Caribbean Championships in Athletics, faces three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.

According to the arrest report, a 16-year-old student told police that while she was stretching out her quads, Love reached under her shirt and touched her breasts.

Love also sent inappropriate text messages to the victim, suggesting that she give him a massage.

After three incidents, the victim told Love that she did not want to train anymore.

Love, 42, posted $30,000 bond Thursday and was released from jail.
