A bunch of reporters followed Mitt Romney around London, asking him leading questions and getting him to say that he found the Olympics preparations inadequate. Then the reporters called it a gaffe.
Later, at the Polish Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the reporters were shouting insulting questions during the solemn tribute. Romney’s press secretary, Rick Gorka, asked them to show some respect. They didn’t and he used profanity; something for which he later apologized. They reported another gaffe. The reporters, of course, are above apology!
I used to think that with technology and education the world had become more civilized. After this, I don’t know. This reminds me more of the Borgias.
