Broward County Transit will hold two community meetings on proposed changes to express buses.
The meetings are scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Miramar Transit Center, 2300 Civic Center Pl., and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Weston Branch Library, 4205 Bonaventure Blvd., Weston.
New express buses from Miramar and Pembroke Pines to Miami are so packed that more routes and buses are being added.
But the idea of leaving a car behind to commute from the Broward’s western suburbs to downtown Fort Lauderdale hasn’t caught on as quickly.

Hollywood’s parking spaces could be getting shorter.
Davie’s Town Council is taking a scheduled vacation break and will resume its regular meetings on July 17.
Although they didn’t find any signs of her body or property that may have belonged to her, Hallandale Beach police said they won’t give up.
