Bowfishing at night presents unique challenges: Help me understand where the sport or challenge is in putting an arrow in a helpless floating stingray? Why not chum the area and just use an automatic gun and net to shoot and harvest your take?
Here in Islamorada, the sport fishing capital of the world, we would not consider shooting anything on the surface with a bow and arrow or gun from a boat or elsewhere a sport.
