CCW, NWA Ring Warriors join forces on July 28; NWA podcast, Kayfabe Wrestling Radio

The Main Event Training Center houses its first monthly event on Saturday, July 28 at its air conditioned facility, 312 E. Oakland Park Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.

Coastal Championship Wrestling combines with NWA Ring Warriors to provide a family-friendly show at The Main Event Training Center..

The Dirty White Boy defends his Southeastern Championship against JT Flash and more. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the opening match is 8 p.m. Admission is $7. Visit www.ccwevents.com. Food and beverages will be available.

The talkNWA podcast welcomes up-and-comer The Texas Prodigy Carson at 1:30 p.m. EST Saturday, July 28.

Carson, a former NWA Lonestar champ and two-time NWA Texas tag team champ, is making a name for himself by traveling across Texas, facing the state’s best. Fresh off a feud with Jasper Davis in NWA Houston, he also joined the Lance Romance’s International Playaz Club in Dallas.

WWE legend Kevin Nash joined Sean Oliver for a 2-disc edition of the acclaimed TIMELINE: HISTORY OF THE WWE series, released by Kayfabe Commentaries in association with www.TheHistoryofWWE.com.

Nash discusses in-depth his run as WWF champ, including how long he was supposed to hold the title, the duties the champ has as the public face of the company, the insane travel schedule the WWF ran during that era, the office staff like Lisa Wolf and his feelings on how creative booked him. His debut into WCW in the 1990’s, the initial meetings with Vince McMahon and how the Steiner brothers helped him land in WWF.

The famous Kliq’s “strike” meeting with Vince McMahon and Pat Patterson is addressed in detail plus the Shawn Michaels of 1995 who was out of control and nearly paid for it in Syracuse, N.Y. Also mentioned is what led to Scott Hall and Nash’s exit in 1996.
