Miami-Dade

Weather: Drier Tuesday

aasuaje@miamiherald.com

Tuesday and the rest of the week won’t be nearly as soggy as the past few days.

Tuesday is shaping up to be a much drier day, with possible storms late morning and in the afternoon. Rain chances will drop to 20 percent and temperatures will rise to the high 80s. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy with no little of rain.

South Florida feels like a sauna already, with temperatures in the 80s at sunrise. The heat index at the peak of the day will make it feel like the high-90s.

The chance of rain will stay at 20 percent during the day on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and will lower to 10 percent on Wednesday and Thursday night. Temperatures will continue to stay steamy in the high-80s and low-90s during the day and high 70s at night.
