TNA Impact Wrestling’s President Dixie Carter announced the signing of Chavo Guerrero Jr. via twitter. He will make his Impact Wrestling debut on Thursday, July 26 on Spike TV from Universal Studios Orlando.
The signing means two members of the legendary Guerrero family are part of the TNA family. Chavo is the nephew of TNA Spanish commentator Hector Guerrero.
Hailing from one of the more successful families in the pro wrestling arena, the Guerrero family has garnered many championship titles and accolades. Chavo is the son of Chavo Sr.
His grandfather and patriarch of the Guerrero family, the late Gory Guerrero, is one of the most famous wrestlers in Mexico.
Having competed throughout the world for various promotions, Chavo has won a number of championships, including tag team gold with his late uncle Eddie Guerrero. Prior to signing with TNA, he appeared on TNA Wrestling’s Ring Ka King in India.
Tune in Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST to catch Impact Wrestling on Spike TV during its live summer series from Universal Studios Orlando.
