Weather: Hot and mostly sunny for weekend

 

Friday will be mostly sunny with some haziness due to dust from the African Sahara riding seasonal trade winds across the Atlantic. It will be hot in South Florida, with temperatures creeping up to the low-90s but feeling more like triple digits.

There is a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

The high for Saturday will be 87 with a 30 percent chance of rain and a few more clouds rolling in.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy and a little bit cooler. There is a 50 percent chance of rain, with some thunderstorms expected in the afternoon.
