Gordon Ramsay’s evil ways are making him a mint. The hot-tempered star of such programs as Hell’s Kitchen, Master Chef and Kitchen Nightmares, has been deemed the highest earning chef in the U.S., reports Forbes. The Scot, who also has restaurants, cookbooks, and ad contracts, has an estimated income of $38 million.

Colombian beauty Sofia Vergara beat out Kim Kardashian in the earning front (No, 2 who came in at $1 million less). Vergara made an estimated $19 million during the past 12 months, thanks to her TV show Modern Family, five movies, a Kmart clothing line, endorsements, and her production company, Latin World Entertainment, which founded the YouTube channel NuevOn.

Rounding out the top 5 actresses: Eva Longoria, $15 million; Bethenny Frankel, $12M; and Khloe Kardashian Odom, $11M.
