It’s obvious that conservatives are against the Affordable Care Act, even though it was a conservative idea from The Heritage Foundation. However, Congress just extended the federal flood-insurance program that is $8 billion in the hole. I wish the news media would ask candidates running for Congress: Would you work to eliminate the federal flood-insurance program or is federal protection of material items more important than an individual’s healthcare?
