A man is taken into custody by Miami police officers. Ramon Leyva is accused of breaking into a house in the 500 block of NW 39th Avenue, then ran into another house nearby and was caught by K-9 Dog, Pluto and officer Manny Bello, who are restraining the dog while other officers place the suspect under arrest. He was charged with burglary, resisting arrest and possession of burglary tools.
A man accused of breaking into a house was taken into custody by Miami police Wednesday morning.
Police say the suspect ran from the house, in the 500 block of Northwest 39th Avenue, and into another nearby house before being caught by a police K-9 dog, Pluto, and Officer Manny Bello.
Ramon Leyva, 43, was charged with burglary, resisting arrest and possession of burglary tools.
Leyva was found carrying a black backpack with items stolen from the first house, according to police.
The K-9 unit confronted him when he ran. Pluto bit him slightly on the shoulder. Leyva then surrendered to other police officers.
