Unattractive garden

Prior to its move to Watson Island, Parrot Jungle was an attractive, family-friendly and accessible paradise located in a pleasant residential neighborhood. Built largely from coral rock and rough-hewn timbers, the park nestled perfectly in a lush, inviting natural hammock setting. Its location offered easy access and enjoyment to school groups and families strolling among parrots, children’s play structures, a petting zoo and more.

Jungle Island, at its current location, offers none of what made Parrot Jungle attractive. Watson Island will always be a noisy passageway between the mainland and Miami Beach. Increased acreage and spending can’t create what nature provided Parrot Jungle.

I suggest finding peaceful homes for the animals to live out their days. The current location is more suited for waters slides, roller coasters, car shows and carnivals.
