Grieving Sylvester Stallone asks for privacy

 

Sylvester Stallone is begging for privacy while investigators try to uncover the cause of Sage Stallone’s death.

In a statement to TMZ, the Expendables star said: “When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son’s memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha [Czack, Stallone’s first wife]. This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives.”

The 36-year-old, who costarred with his father in 1990’s Rocky V and 1996’s Daylight, was found dead in his home by his housekeeper Friday. An autopsy will be performed. Sage was a filmmaker as well, who directed the 2006 short Vic, about an aging, down-on-his-luck actor.

A day before the tragedy, Stallone was at Comic-Con with Arnold Schwarzenegger in San Diego, for Expendables 2 .

Sly’s brother Frank Stallone posted on his Facebook page that he was dealing with “issues” in regards to his nephew’s untimely death but thanked his fans for their support.
