Monday morning marked Savannah Guthrie’s first day as the new co-host of NBC’s “Today” show, in which she replaced former co-host Ann Curry.
Guthrie, who previously served as the co-anchor of the third hour of the morning talk show and the show’s chief legal correspondent, said it was “an honor” to be the co-host, according to Celebuzz.
Guthrie joined NBC in 2007 and has appeared as the anchor of “NBC Nightly News,” moderated on “Meet the Press” and reported for “Rock Center” within the last week, said NBC News President Steve Capus.
Prior to the “Today” show, Guthrie served as a White House correspondent for NBC News and a co-anchor of MSNBC’s “The Daily Rundown.”
