  • The South Miami United Angry Birds under-8 girls soccer team won the Palmetto Bay Copa Yezz Tournament. They went 4-0 to win the championship for the second consecutive year.   • Representing Florida, the SAA Real Madrid 96/97 under-15 boys travel soccer team won the United States Youth Soccer Southern Regional Championships in Greenville, S.C. They qualified for the national championships.
