Friday will be partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of rain and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. The Miami-Dade Department of Emergency Management recommends seeking shelter indoors when storms move in.
The weekend will look like a typical South Florida summer with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Saturday will be partly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with scattered thunderstorms later in the day and a 40 percent chance of rain.
