He’s human, after all: LeBron James gets the jitters when it comes to very important events in his life, the Miami Heat star admitted to Oprah on Oprah’s Next Chapter, airing 8 p.m. Sunday on OWN.

The MVP, 27, told the big O that proposing to Savannah Brinson on New Year’s Eve felt like “before a finals game.”

James got down on bended knee at a party at held at Vesper Brasserie at the Shelborne South Beach Hotel.

“I was ready to make the next step in my commitment with Savannah,” he tells Winfrey of his high school sweetheart and mother of his two kids.

Teammate Dwyane Wade — who also appears on the show with Chris Bosh — held the $300,000 ring the whole night before he popped the Q, James reports.

“I asked him for it right after the ball dropped,” James said. “He was like, ‘You ready?’ I was like, ‘If you don’t give me this ring right now, I ain’t gonna do it.’”

No wedding date has been set but James isn’t averse to weddings — he recently crashed the nuptials of Shaun and Jamie Kolnick at the Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove. He happened to be there for interviews and happened upon the starstruck couple, they posted on Facebook.

The legendary Wonder performed for well over two hours, singing covers by The Beatles, Michael Jackson and Bob Marley as well as his own greatest hits. Wonder also invited some of the audience, this writer included, to audition for him on his hit, Part Time Lover. While he told us we were better than the previous, uh, contestant, we’ll be keeping the full time day job.

    Amanda Bynes: hot mess extraordinaire

The term “hot mess” doesn’t come close to describing Amanda Bynes. The troubled actress appeared disheveled in a long blond wig and sweats Friday in a criminal court where she was charged with reckless endangerment. She was also charged with attempted tampering with evidence and unlawful possession of marijuana, all misdemeanors.
