Terra Group’s Doral Cay to break ground later this year

Doral Cay, a new development in the city of Doral by Terra Group, is expected to break ground later this year. Featuring island-style architecture and upscale amenities, the 17-acre, secure gated community will consist of 160 three- and four-bedroom luxury townhomes.

Reminiscent of a paradise getaway, Doral Cay will be an impressive sight, says a company spokesperson.

The new development encompasses several garden plazas where children can play and residents can enjoy peace and tranquility. Bringing to mind Caribbean living, the opulent clubhouse sits in the center of the community surrounded by lush landscaping with panoramic lake views. Large white cabanas surround the infinity pool that further accentuates the upscale tropical ambience.

Each of Doral Cay’s townhomes will be built with unique, quality materials including standing seam metal roofing. The upper level of the townhomes will have additional detailing in the form of horizontal siding, reflecting a Florida Coastal style.

The interiors of the homes have been designed with an abundance of natural light and an open layout. The homes will feature lofts on the second story, which will include the master bedroom, his-and-hers walk-in closets, a sitting room and a master bath with a shower/ tub combination, a double sink, toilet and bidet. A second-story balcony will extend from the master bedroom.

About 50 percent of the homes will have a direct lake view. All residents can enjoy their own, private backyard, enclosed by a wooden fence.

With the success achieved by the award-winning new home development at The Reserve at Doral, Terra Group selected the city of Doral as the location to build Doral Cay, says the spokesperson.

The city of Doral is preferred due to its livability and convenient location just one mile from Miami International Airport, as well as near the Doral Golf Resort & Country Club, the Dolphin and International malls, and an array of different restaurants, says the spokesperson.

The city has quickly become one of the most popular real estate communities in Miami-Dade County, says the spokesperson, adding that in terms of work and education, Doral has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the state and some of the best public and private schools in the county.

Thanks to its cultural amenities, supportive business environments and highly educated workforce, Doral was named No. 2 of America’s Top 25 Towns to Live Well by Forbes.com, adds the spokesperson.

Terra Group strongly believes in adding value to the city within which each of its communities are built.

With an emphasis on creativity and unique design, Terra Group constantly aims to further diversify and enrich the landscape, adds the spokesperson.
